My current laptop is running Windows Vista, a 1.8 GHz AMD Turion 64×2 processor, 1982MB of RAM, DirectX 10, and the NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150.

Btw, I am pretty computer illiterate haha. Now, Half-Life 2 runs fine at medium settings except for when there’s tons of smoke in the game. I recently bought Half-Life 2: Episode One but my computer has the hardest time running it, its practically unplayable with all the lag. I was wondering how much it would cost to upgrade my processor to the recommended 2.4GHz that the game recommends?
