and I’ve never put in a processor onto a Mobo before and I noticed that the processor chip doesn’t have any prongs on the bottom to connect to the ASUS socket….and the Mobo says it supports the AMD 64 FX….the instructions says to place it on the Socket and lock it….how would it lock if I can’t connect it to the socket? The processor just slides around.

Please help.

Mine doesn’t have anything sticking out from the bottom…it’s just a flat surface with little gold circles….is there something on the bottom that I have to peel?
