Btw, I am pretty computer illiterate haha. Now, Half-Life 2 runs fine at medium settings except for when there’s tons of smoke in the game. I recently bought Half-Life 2: Episode One but my computer has the hardest time running it, its practically unplayable with all the lag. I was wondering how much it would cost to upgrade my processor to the recommended 2.4GHz that the game recommends?

and I’ve never put in a processor onto a Mobo before and I noticed that the processor chip doesn’t have any prongs on the bottom to connect to the ASUS socket….and the Mobo says it supports the AMD 64 FX….the instructions says to place it on the Socket and lock it….how would it lock if I can’t connect it to the socket? Mine doesn’t have anything sticking out from the bottom…it’s just a flat surface with little gold circles….is there something on the bottom that I have to peel?
