1.)Overheating, probably due to the heatsink not making good contact with the CPU. Remove it, clean thoroughly, add new thermal paste, and remount.

2.) Motherboard is failing, probably due to failing capacitors. See if you have any swollen or leaking capacitors, and if so, it is time for a new motherboard (or a soldering iron).

That is really bad my friend. Try to find out if the MOBO has just fry itself. You said that the proc was very heat check if your PROC is burned..
