How to take the 1.6ghz amd 64 processor out of an Acer 5050 Laptop?

i just need to know how to take the processor out, I purchased a 2.0ghz amd 64 processor, same model, different speed, and I can’t figure out how to get it out!! Please help!

    Philips screwdriver, flat head screwdriver, masking tape to keep track of screws, and patience.

  • Canti:

    Processors cannot be removed. If you do remove it, you’ll end up breaking something, and will have to buy a new computer. Even if you did manage to remove it without breaking something, the chances the motherboard would be compatible is unlikely.
