Anyone know a good desktop distribution of linux compatible with an AMD processor?

Imlooking for a free downloadable desktop distribution of linux that has a browser and word processor, and is compatible with an AMD processor. Its a windows 98 computer, judt in case that matters.

    PCLINUXOS2007 , I had it going on a P2 400MHZ PC. Works on a newer AMD 64X2 PC too . Has open office Firefox and conqueror

    Any distro should be happy with an amd processor. I have installed linux on 2 different amd chipped computers without problems.
