That processor runs at 2.2GHz without overclocking, and quite a bit faster if overclocked.
The fastest socket A Processor that AMD built was a 1.4 gig, and I think is was called an Athlon. I don’t recall the “core” name. And as I recall they ran pretty hot.
I have no idea where you would find a processor that old. Maybe on E-bay. And before you buy, check that specks on your board to be sure that it will handle clock speeds that fast.
